CORPORATE HEALTH

A long time ago, a minister for health,
Drew up a plan and invested some wealth,
From a Government kitty that we needed so much,
Allowing us all to be able to touch,
The doctors and services we rely on so much.

But, Governments change and policies too,
Problems and outrage, war and bird flu,
All come at a cost, for me and for you,
And with stealthy moves, they’ve unstuck the glue,
Selling us out – but, without going through,
Democratic consultation – or even askin’ a few.

Decisions are made behind corporate doors,
Probably the people who start all the wars,
The ones who can afford private healthcare,
Thanks a lot Labour, Mr. Brown and Mr. Blair,

But business is business and not really caring,
So wait for the take – without any sharing,
When demanding their profits – the cut corners and tearing,
It will all end in tears – like the Yanks are all wearing.

HELP - Wake up

Newspaper lies and government spies,
War for profit, another soldier dies,
Democratic, Demographic – Freedom cries,
Silent population – No questions is wise?
The lows and the highs – the spin and the lies,
Barcode, credit card – what you buys and the size,
You know I’ve had enough now – it is time to rise,
1 percent of people like you, own the prize,
80 percent of wealth and their addicted lives,
So, what’s the deal – right before my eyes?
Terror, panic, invasion, - fire in the skies,
What’s going on? Are we addicted to the lies?
Working for the weekend and a burger and fries,
Television mouthpiece – produced to spin the lies,
Media has no freedom – just dumbed down surprise,
We just sit there nodding as they terrorise,
Its time to wake up now, get up and arise,
Start to push the buttons – not wait for crass replies,
Face up your fears – expanding your lives,
We need a big change, or it’ll be our demise,
Political shift or revolutionise,
Nobody walks now- everyone drives,
Long haul destination – package deal fly’s,
But the fuel’s running out, the wells getting dry,
Prices increase, taxing harder our lives,
Waters getting higher – sun burning our skies,
My little boys will inherit this prize,
Think I’ll sign off now – probably have a small cry.

Gigabyte – Blue Light – Wireless Ice-cream
Over-priced nonsense sits upon the shelf
Genetically modified – swap wealth for health?
